Rest & Recover Brownies

Rest & Recover Brownies

Craving something a little more decadent than a mug of Rest & Recover? We've got you! Check out this recipe for fudgy chocolate brownies using Rest & Recover instead of cocoa powder. These brownies are high in magnesium, ashwagandha, reishi mushroom, GABA, L-theanine and many more wonderful nutrients!

Rest & Recover chocolate brownies (vegan)

  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed and 5 tbsp water OR 5 tbsp apple sauce
  • ¾ cup sweetened Rest & Recover
  • 1,5 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup water
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Note: If using unsweetened R&R, I would add about 1 to 1.25 cups of sugar

  1. Mix flax and 5 tbsp water and leave it for 5 minutes to form a flax “egg”.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients (except choc chips) and give it a stir.
  3. Add wet to dry and mix until combined (don’t over mix).
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish lined with baking paper, and make sure to spread the batter evenly.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 mins.

If you cut your brownie into 8 squares, each square has 1 serving of Rest & Recover, containing 250mg of elemental magnesium, as well as ashwagandha, reishi mushroom, L-theanine, GABA, vitamin C, B6, zinc and more!
